Gemara Seminar B'kius Instructions:

This year in Gemara Seminar we will learn Masechet Makkot B'kiut. Gd willing, we will finish the masechet by the end of the year and have the wonderful z'chut of making a siyum on it together!  This is also the masechet that YU b'kiut is learning so you can participate in the YU b'kiut program also if you want to. 

Each week you are each expected to learn one daf of Gemara. I will give you each access to a link to a b'kiut blog and each week, a different student in the class will be responsible for posting 2 things--a) a summary of that week's daf and b) a question or thought for the class about something that was discussed on the daf. (It can be a halacha l'maaseh question to research further, a lomdus thought, a philosophical debate…). This post will be due on Sunday night at 7 PM, after which the rest of the class will have until Monday night at midnight to comment on that person's post, each student's response being reflective of the discussion on the daf and showing familiarity with that week's daf.
